Renaissance Man or Dilettante?  How about Renaissance Dilettante? I’m an actor and writer living in Seattle.  I’m board president of Operation Nightwatch, a front-line homeless services agency, and a councilmember of the Clan Hannay Society, a family history organization based in Southwestern Scotland. Oh, yes, I’m also part of the team that runs the Madison Valley Emergency Communication Hub, one of a few dozen Seattle Emergency Hubs. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, I was the board president of Theatre Puget Sound, Washington State’s professional theatre association.  My team created the Gregory Awards, growing it from its roots as the solitary Greg Falls Sustained Achievement Award into our “regional Tonys.” At its height before the 2020 pandemic, it had become a yearly extravaganza held at McCaw Hall with 30+ awards.

I have a background in visual arts, computer science, project management and museum exhibit design.  I have a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from the University of Washington.  I trained with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts.  I originally hail from Eastern Ontario, Canada.
